so, I have emerged from my opera production unscathed. Mostly. Now I have to figure out what I am going to do this summer. Hmm...
So, even though I've been less than consistent updating this for a while now, my activity may be even less in the upcoming weeks. I'm traveling to Winston-Salem to direct an opera up there, so I'll be away from home for about 3 weeks. Hopefully the hotel room they're putting me in will have easy internet access, but one never knows...
Anyway, to anyone who...

Thanks! I'm still wondering if I should do SG. I need to find out if thay would help me with other modeling gigs. I'd like to sortof get a name for myself rather than "she just did SG like 500 other girls" and stop at that. I would love to be in magazines and music videos.
what.

OK -- so i'm back after a long hiatus. i spent the whole summer at an opera festival in upstate NY, and am now in the thick of rehearsals for the operatic version of MACBETH. no rest for the weary.
however, now that i am back in the land of internet connections, hopefully i'll be more of an active presence. more later...

why can't the rest of the world be as nocturnal as i am? maybe i have some form of insomnia, but i'm usually the most awake and ready to go in the hours after midnight. perhaps my frustration comes from living in a city geared towards 9-to-5ers. at least there's SG to keep me happy.

If I could talk my boss into letting me work 2nd shift...I'd have it made! A 24 hour sign shop, it could work!

so, i'm going out of town for a couple of days, for my sister's high school graduation (she's mid-fuctioning autistic, so it's quite a big deal).
while i'm gone, i'm thinking about creating a new group for punk rockers who love opera...there are quite a lot of us out there, and the two genres are not as disparate as one might imagine. (also, working for...

I guess Mooresville is OK. I don't know my way around, I do know it's small. All the people I know there are the ones I work with. I drive down to Charlotte often (mostly weekends) I go to all of the singlecell events (Ressurection,Purgatory,Inferno)
"Red eye effect intentional?" No, it wasn't. I have blue eyes that are dilated 75% of the time (people have always asked me if I'm on LSD). When we uploaded the pics almost all (when I was looking at the camera) gave me extreme red eye that matched my red slip exactly. We liked it, saved them and experimented to see what they'd look like w/out in photoshop.

Resurrection is @ the Steeple (last Sat. of every month) Shall I keep you posted on these events? June 12th is "purgatory" @ Amos' Southend

so, i've never kept a journal or diary before...hmmm. it's kind of like free therapy (but with you cool SGers instead of some psychoanalyst who's too occupied with what might or might not be a cigar).
anyhoo, let's see, what's on my mind...

close! we ate at the penguin

OK, so this is my first-ever journal entry, on this site or any other. I've been an SG member for a while now, but have only rarely posted -- I was starting to feel like a "lurker." But, I've been surfing the boards a lot lately (esp. SGNC -- represent!), and since the people around here are pretty fucking cool, I figured I'd reach out...
