OK, so this is my first-ever journal entry, on this site or any other. I've been an SG member for a while now, but have only rarely posted -- I was starting to feel like a "lurker." But, I've been surfing the boards a lot lately (esp. SGNC -- represent!), and since the people around here are pretty fucking cool, I figured I'd reach out and say hello to anyone who's reading. Still, it's a bit intimidating.

So, baby steps and all that...
