So, I finally decided that the picture of me as a Catholic Schoolgirl had to come down. It was freaking me out a little. (it's in my pics folder if anyone is curious. beware.)

Hmmm... I think I might actually go to bed before 3 am for once.

I sing in empty elevators. It's not a conscious habit, really. But very often when I'm in an elevator by myself, I just find myself quietly singing -- odd bits of an opera aria, a song that's stuck in my head, wordless tunes and strings of nonsense syllables. It's the best TV show since Buffy. If you don't believe it, you obviously haven't seen it.

ugh - caffeine headache...

so, I have emerged from my opera production unscathed. Mostly. Now I have to figure out what I am going to do this summer. Hmm...

So, even though I've been less than consistent updating this for a while now, my activity may be even less in the upcoming weeks. I'm traveling to Winston-Salem to direct an opera up there, so I'll be away from home for about 3 weeks. Hopefully the hotel room they're putting me in will have easy internet access, but one never knows...
