Wow! What a week I have chatted to friends, met friends, sang for friends, felt very loved and loved in return. I've met with old friends & (hopefully) gained some new ones, talked about arts, been a finder of souls (so I was told). I feel truly encouraged, happy, inspired & all round not too bad at all
Monday - Was quiet, a friend popped by late morning on his way through London & then just did a little tv watching in the eve & gamed.
Tuesday - Just did the usual stuff, cooked, watched tv....... in the evening I went to the Troy Bar to sing, but didn't get to as it was a busy night, but had a good night & the singing was most inspired - gospel, original compositions & just some stunning vocalists. I hope you all get the chance to experience this place soon (those of you in the UK that is & those that visit)
Wednesday - I was supposed to be going to the cinema, but yet to happen due to one thing & another, & now I have 3 films I want to see And as I do on a wednesday I went to my very much missed Tia Ji Quan class. Going to Tia Ji has focused my mind so much, improved my posture & breathing, & as much as I don't know alot of the form yet I always learn something - whether that be about myself or the practice of this marital art.
Thursday just chilled
Friday went out to see some tattoists about the back piece I want done. I've spoken to 3 or 4 now, just need to get the cash & off we go Friday Night out to the TRoy Bar once more with Hubby & my friend C, both of whom have never experienced the singing delights the TRoy has to offer. It was a crazy & very busy night, as their was a pair of hosts - T & T, both of whom invited lots of friends, plus of course you have the dehli of friday nighters letting off steam after a long week.Again the calibour (spelling ) of singers was pretty good, and they had some newbies too who were great. High light was that I got to sing - alot later than expected, but I got to sing & Andi got to hear me perform for the first time in 4 years he's been saying I need to do more & get out & perform more - plus I need to practice at home more, & get into my voice & not hide it anymore. I love that man
Saturday - Now saturday was all about the Sg Meet And I am so happy I went. So much love in the place, so great to see & feel.Some newbies to the fold & lots of the usual suspects all at the Ship. 30 or so in residence, the various comings & goings. Awesome to see everyone cakemix love you bad, & missed you look forward to hanging out soon. Met her friend & tattooist J - cool guy. Fanny great to meet you, hope you enjoyed you 1st meet. Jezabel you are a saint for chatting to that American nightmare guy & to those of you I just said hi to I hope you had a great time too. Special mentions go to Kinto u TheNonStopDancer You are crazy, but I 's ya. I'll be in touch. And thans for the drinks both of you. After leaving you lot I went to hang out with a good friend and clubbed at Egg Fallen Angels, danced my socks off, and was looked after so well by J - great guy finally rolled in at 4am - after telling myself I was going to have an early one Oh and I spoke to 2 of my fav people brainfreeze & Antenna both well & happy - I'm glad you are back
