Oldie but Goodie
So I did something fun tonight - I got a call this morning asking if I wanted to go to a concert. Now I love live music, so an oppotunity comes my way I'm gonna say yes. Guess who it was though... ABC. For those who don't know they are an old 80's pop band - Poison Arrow & Look of Love.
Well I called friends to see if they would like to come, but everyone was busy, so just me & hubby went, We didn't expect much. But you know what it was fun & funny, had a great time. It was all part of the VH1 ReUnite Bands Show. We stayed off camara, so you won't see me, but it was cool to go. And the lead singer reminded me of the movie Love Actually - well reminded hubby of it. Well actually it's the other way around. Anyway I'm glad we went it was cool to check it out - and the Carling Academy is a great venue gonna definately check out more stuff there

i got dragged to see a benefit gig a couple of years ago to see eric clapton. not my cup of tea. anyway he was awesome. the reason those guys from ABC were good is simple, they play the music, unlike most boy/girl bands at the moment who are so staged.
