Today was strange.

I was greeted in the morning by Artemis, and she was friendly. And inquisitive. In my nature, I told her I'd spill my guts if she'd agree to see me in person, and got no objections.

Furthermore she agreed to meet with me today. I drove up to her house, met her, and after running a few errands we went down to the resevoir and spent hours chitting and chatting.

Tension was there from the start, and built up, until finally rupturing my discipline. We didn't trade any DNA. And she finally stopped us from going any further.

I wasn't sad. I wasn't shaken up, overly. Am I over her? Perhaps. I'd still have liked it to work. Perhaps I'm accepting reality, that it will never work.

I am more confused than upset at all.
