I really dislike all of the flash on the new site. I browse using a fairly old laptop that doesn't have a whole lot of guts to it. I don't think the flash animations add anything, except a lot of bloat, making browsing the site much slower, and my browser in general less stable.

Oh, what I wouldn't give for the old fashioned javascript and html based site.
