Just a little update from yesterday...
I am not fired ... yet. Doesn't mean they won't get around to it, but I need them to keep me until the 20th so I can get a full paycheck first.
The VP did loan me $250.
The rental car company gave me a Ford Explorer, so now I'm big truck chick instead of race car chick. It is kind of nice driving a new car and now I can take the rest of the crap to storage.
The car repair shop came and took my car away yesterday. They are going to make the deductible more *manageable*
Jeff turned 45 today. His birthday (in his mind) started at midnight so he made me come over even though I was already exhausted. Unfortunately I did not go to bed until 6 AM ... and then to work by 9 AM. I'm still trying to do the math on that one and it's not computing. My son came home for a few days so now I have no place to sleep. Guess I can go to Jeff's again ... but he never lets me sleep!
Both my home phone and my cell phone seem to be turned off. I know I paid both bills last month so I don't really understand how this happened so suddenly, but I can tell you that it is a bad time to not be able to make phone calls.
The electric company sent a shut off notice, too. Where are all these freakin' bills coming from?
I still have $50 in my pocket! Yay!
I still have the best 420 I have ever seen. You know, the kind that makes the bag all cloudy from the crystals rubbing off and stuff.
All things considered, it is a good day!

Yeah, I know we are the same age so i really shouldn't count you in my observations, but I do. it seems you are in the same boat as a lot of the other SG's. Trust me, but by the grace of god go i. I could have been there myself. I tried to walk away from the job two years ago, and changed my mind at the last minute. I fear that with a 700.00 a month child support i would have been in the same boat. (living paycheck to paycheck) of course i have to be a whore to them man. I wish you could rescue me. you seem like a lot of fun. I'd by a drink or two ..or 9. of course you know i'm drug free because of the job. problem? Thank for caring enough to reply though.
