Well, the waiting is over. I;ve officially been taken off of the first project I was scoring music for. I don't get it. She tells me what she wants, I do it. Then she says "How about this instead?" I do it. Then she says "Well what if you did this but not the other and try to be less dramatic with the sound you're creating. I do that too. Only to get an email 2 nights ago saying that they will now be using someone else to score the film. Good luck with that! She's got 4 days to do it and I already wrote 2 hours worth of usable material and she fucking snubs me. Well, I won't be seeing my name in lights as soon as I had hoped for but, oh well.
This new horror film score is coming along well, and I got a call to write some really fun stuff for a documentary.
It would be so much easier if these directors had ears!
Someday I wish to quit my regular job to do this full time. I hope it's soon. The bar is really starting to grind on me.

Oh well. Time for sleep. That's where I get to be a viking!
