Nothing pressing to say which rarely happens. Usually I have way too much to say....

I've been known to have a few opinions. In fact, I have strong opinions about damned near everything and I'm not sure if that's such a good thing. Yeah, I'm passionate about lots of things, but I think I take things too seriously.

Buddha would probably say that the desire to be right or have your opinions be seen as right only leads to a endless cycle of unmet expectations. Unfulfilled expectations and desires lead to suffering, your suffering.

When you always have to be right, people around you get bored pretty easily as you dominate them with your opinion. Who wants to be around someone who always has to be right or has to drive home their opinion endlessly?

Im confused cause my whole life seems to be run by my opinion. My work in politics is fuel by my opinion that Republicans are greedy, shortsighted, bible-beating hypocrites. If I give that up what will I have? How do I give up being right and still be passionate?

Buddha why dont you give me a call and well get this things handled.

MMMM! Fiber...I got a box of basic four sitting in my cupboard that beckons to me...

The fact is that politics have this odd tendency to be just that...forcing your opinion as the right one...I don't think it's fair to do such a thing.

One of the most well known republicans of all time said that Politics and morals are not to be mixed (I'm paraphrasing since I can't be bothered to find the real quote) because politics are used to manage the people at large, while morals are a strictly personal subject...He also said that any good christian ought to kick Falwell in the ass... Who'd have thought that Barry Goldwater would have said something I agree with? (and the extremeism in the face of tyrany...blahblahblah...totally out of context too.)
