Howdy Partners-

I'm back from: the post-election abyss, my mostly ill-fated trip to San Francisco, and turkey coma to enjoy my unemployment.

With the election over, so is my job, so if you know anybody hiring an political organizer/ public relations agent/ urban planner, send'em my way!

A few things I'm thankful for:

My friends in SF who took me in and showed me a good time.

My friends in Denver who take me out & feed me beers and give me great companionship.

My family (8 brothers and sisters) who continue to prove that my old school Irish bringin up was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Denver & Colorado - I do love this place. Living in Capital Hill is great due to access to jobs, school, pubs, clubs, restaurants and a Wild Oats. I can't wait to ski this season. I've got a couple of 4-Packs at Copper & Winter Park.

Just when I think I have, I realize I can't remember what I am forgiving myself for. It is funny how certain things can trigger a memory of the past. And how sometimes discussing things can shed light on to past situations, and that is all he was doing was shedding light, not condeming. But I do wish he could forget that I had a life outside of him even if he was part of it. I don't really want to remember and I think this is why I have blocked out so much of my past.

So how are the plans coming along to go see the folks? Are you all set to go? How's work? Any big changes?
