Man, I have not been on here very often at all! It is summer though, so I have been out a lot more and spend little time in front of the computer.... except at work, but that is just work! Actually, spending a day in front of the computer makes you NOT want to come home and spend more time in front of one! I never got a call back from the tree planting job.... Probably a good thing considering the record heat/humidity this summer. I would have died. Instead I got hired on my the faculty to do research on diabetes management. It is quite fun, just long days in front of computer screens... But I get paid just as much and I get to control my own work hours! 
Anyway... I am getting ahead of myself.... So, I got home for Sweden. Started arranging the new place. It is finally in order, we finished up about a week ago. It is quite beautiful! Haha. Although, with all the moisture in the air we have been having slight mould problems. Luckly, it hasn't bothered me! Or else it could be big trouble....
Last weekend I spent at home with my family for a family reunion. It was pretty fun... A lot of people though... A LOT! I usually think of my family as about 15 people, but there were over 60! At the end of the day I was SO ready to just go home with my parents and sit around the campfire with a glass of wine. Yay!
The weekend before that I drove to Montreal with my friend to see Heavy MTL 2010. It was AWESOME! So much fun! I have fingers crossed that I can make it next year (unless I get accepted to travel to Malaui next summer... I would rather be in Africa)!! We spent 9h driving there, went to the biosphere (were disappointed since it is ALL kids stuff), to the concert.... Coming home that night was wild. I lost one of my shoes in a mosh pit when Megadeth came on! We stayed after to try and find it... But alas. Someone must have put it on and wore it home. There were a A LOT of left behind shoes... Actually, I found a whole pair that I wore home that night. Actually, I found TWO matching pairs, but not my ONE shoe! I miss those shoes! Hahaha. Anyway, we barely made it to the subway through the crowd, but did... Only to have a bomb threat called in. They closed the line. We had no way home!!! We tried to find a bus. No luck! The concert was over at 11p.... We didn't get home till 3a!!! We had to get a 50 buck taxi ride! 
The second day we skipped out early and left before Korn came on. We didn't really care to see em anyway. And we got home without event!
This is the first weekend that I have really spent in the apartment, so I am looking forward to relaxing a bit. Had to bring some work home with me though! (Shame! Shame!!). Tomorrow morning means a bike ride to the market for fresh veggies and then lunch with a friend. After that... Home to clean the apartment and spend some time with the boyfriend. Nothing exciting... Just relaxing. Nice, after being busy a lot of the time.
