Guh. I am still so sick! Haha, I actually have gotten a lot worse after the weekend. Probably because I was up late Saturday and Sunday night! And I sang an hour and half of karaoke with one friend on Saturday night and I sang four hours of karaoke with two friends on Sunday. My throat was killing me! I keep getting weird sudden and short dizzy attacks. It is really strange. But I don't want to go to a doctor in Japan. And I won't unless it is super serious.
Today was hellish teaching. I had to sing to my kinderkids class. But my throat was so sore, and I was trying not to cough or anything! And I kept choking and my eyes started to water! LOL. My poor kids. I think that I really freaked them out! Kodjiro was asking me if I was okay!! It was so cute!!! Haha, I love some of the kids I teach!
They are so adorable!
On Saturday it snowed here! YAYAYAYA! SNOW!! I was sooooo excited!!! I took pictures, but I am lazy and I haven't taken them off my camera yet! So next entry I will have to post them. Along with the pictures of the cherry blossoms that I took last week! Haha! Crazy, sakura in February!! Acutally, Lee couldn't make it to Osaka on Saturday because she was late and the trains became delayed! But Pascale and I took off on the train. We went on on the town that night. We went to a hip hop club. I danced so much I hurt! Haha! But they played really good fun ole music for dancing!
On Sunday we went to the Liberty Museum. But we were really disappointed. The english translations were really poor, so we didn't really learn anything. After that I met up with Lee and Claire and we went and ate Thai (YUM! I love Thai food! I think it is the best!) and then we went to the concert! IT WAS AMAZING!!!! Sting and the Police are AMAZING live!!! SO GOOD!!! 25 000 people were there! We had a good view of the stage, no one in front of us, but it was so far away that we just had to watch the screens! But still, the music was just GREAT!!! After the concert we did our four hours of karaoke! OUCH!
On Monday morning we got up and we went the Zoological gardens. All it did was depress me. I LOVE animals, and I love to see them. But I can't stand to see them caged in small cages and looking stressed out. It just breaks my heart. When I saw the cloud leopard I thought I was going to barf. It was so stressed it was missing fur. That is just WRONG. Some animals are raised in captivity or saved from the wild and can no longer survive on their own. I think that it is great to put them in zoos where they are taken care of PROPERLY and zoos can really help raise awareness about endagered species and the environment. But I think it is very awful to capture animals and put them in cages that are too small. Or to isolate them when they are social. Seeing the zebras made me happy, because they seemed content. And I had a Hyena jump up on the glass a foot in front of my face and I almost died it was so amazing, But other animals......
I felt bad for paying admission and supporting the zoo.
And that is about all that is new. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow for work. I need to rebook my ticket dates still... I suck. And Nic got out of his surgery alright. So that is great. He just called. And that is all.
I like the word and.
Oh. AND, since a couple of people have asked me. Here are some pictures of my tattoos that I took awhile ago when my little Beet was still alive.
I miss her so much!!!!
Well, here is my angel tat. I had it done when I was way younger. I actually took a tattoo picture in and had the artist alter it. I kinda feel bad about that now, but it is a lot different, But still. I like to design my own tattoos now and put a lot more thought into them.....
My koi fish on my ankle. Haha, yeah, pretty straight forward.
My old university roomate spoonfeeding me cake mix. Yum.
LoL. And my tattoo. Which I drew, which is why the writing is really shitty. Haha, I thought that when I took it to the artist he would straighten the letters, but I never told him to, I just figured he would. And he didn't. So they are kind of crooked and plain. But they feel more like me cause of it.....
The lyrics are from the song 'People Talk' by Wintersleep. I love the lyrics to that song.
Yup. That tis all......

So yeah, caterpillars. Technically, it was a masters of biology, but my research subject was caterpillars. Before that I'd done a BA in biology/ecology. So now, I'm looking for work either in a university lab as a research assistant or with an environmental consulting firm. Or really, there's like a billion different things I *can* do with it, but nothing specific. It's kind of nice and crappy at the same time
