Wahoo! Thailand was pretty much way better then I expected! The people were so friendly, a lot of people spoke english, and I wasn't stared at all the time. It made me really realize how much I REALLY hate living in Japan. I can't wait to just be treated normal instead of like an infectious circus freak to stare at from a distance. Grr. Four months till Canada Baby!
My friend and I spent three days in Bangkok and four on Koh Samui. Bangkok was so busy and exciting and everything just went by like BAM BAM BAM! I know... A poor description! Hah. Koh Samuik, on the other hand was laid back and a good time. I loved kayaking around the national park off the coast of Samui... It was AMAZING. Completely unbelievable. Just wow!! We went to see the river Kwai on a tour from Bangkok for a day. The war graveyard there was kind of breathtaking in a strange way... We didn't party at all on our journey - we just spent time enjoying everything! I did fuck up my leg pretty bad. I rented a motorbike on Koh Samui and I was fine by myself, but my friend was so nervous. We pulled out onto the highway, she spazzed out cause I took the turn out too fast and she tipped the bike over. We almost got run over. I got some sweet scars down my leg now! LoL! They are pretty nice...
New Years was pretty shitty. I wasn't happy to be back in Japan and my friends and I went to a sleazy club. Where I got seperated from the larger group. Then was dragged outside by security for punching a guy in the face that grabbed my ass - unfortunately said sleazeball was friends with one of the security guards. But the head security guard just sent us back in. Man I love punchin assholes in the face! It is strange, I've never been harrassed in my life.... And within a couple weeks I've been picked on twice. Oh my!
This post sounds pretty miserable I suppose! But I am pretty chipper!! My family from home sent me a big package for Christmas with wrapped gifts and I got lots of cards in the mail! Yay! And I still have half a week off from work! Gotta finish up my nursing applications for September! JOY! Cannot wait! Toodles! <3

My mom lived in Thailand for a few years when she was younger and she absolutely loved it...Before my aunt married my uncle he was a monk... I have heard nothing but good things about that place . love the pictures..
