Today my dad told me he might be getting laid off, I am really understanding the phrase "when it rains it pores". The scariest thing about him being laid off is the fact of my mothers insurance. Right now my is a film editor. With the recent writers strike it is impossible to find a Union job. This is an issue because the Union provides my families health insurance. My Dad really can't work for anything but the Union, because no private insurance would cover my Mom because of her pre existing condition. Now I may not even have to make a decision about going to school or not next semester because my Dad wont be able to afford it. I need to invest in a poncho and some rain boots. I feel like it has been raining for too long. Sorry about another emo blog.
