Hey there virtual friend. I got the bump finally to General Manager at 5 Guys here in DC, took over the store last monday...and have subsequently worked 14 hour days since...
First day off since then is tomorrow/today. Super excited to do absolutely as little as humanly possible.

When I first joined SG, Lyrical told me to join the BDSM group. That's where I met my earliest group of friends, which included you, Nicoletta and several others. The wonderful thing about that, is that I still consider almost all of you to be close friends. Not because of having BDSM in common, but because you're all such great people.

I don't know when I'll be able to get down there, (lack of funds), but when I do go, i'll make it my business to get together with you come hell or high water.

I'm also trying to save up to attend the wedding of my great friend and my former Goddess, Lyrical. She lives in Birmingham, England now. She just got engaged and hasn't set a date yet. I'm invited, but am not optimistic about being able to attend.

How's everything? I was just reading and responding to a longtime friend who happens to be into BDSM in a big way. I thought of you because, just as in her case, our mutual interest in BDSM was a gateway to forming a friendship that goes beyond those narrow parameters.

I feel that I needed you to know how much I like and respect you as a person. You deserve to hear those things because of who you are.

I'm very sorry you had to deal with this betrayal by someone you extended your friendship and hospitality to. I know you're pissed , but maybe finding out the true character of this person sooner rather than later is best in the long run. It hurts to be let down by someone you obviously had feelings for.

Real friends are precious and are hard to find. I'm sorry that this person turned out not to be a true friend. It's definitely her loss.

Also, it's good that you were able to vent. I've found that letting things out on some of my blogs have been quite beneficial.

I'd love to know how your grandma is doing. Thanks for thinking of me.

Remember when I contemplated meeting up with you last year on one of my trips to Mooresville? Well, I don't plan any trips down there in the near future because of finances. If you're willing, I'm promising myself to make meeting you happen. My daughter says that there are buses that go into Charlotte. I'd love nothing better than to get together.

I'm glad you feel the same way I do about the possibility of meeting someday. I think you're a terrific person. I know we originally were drawn to each other by our similar erotic interests. It turned out that it was a vehicle toward my getting to know a good and decent human being.

My daughter , Heather, mentioned the other day that she'd like to visit her grandma's (my mom's) grave in in the next couple of weeks.. June will mark the 6th anniversary of her passing. When she mentioned that, I thought of your grandma and wondered how she;s doing. I recall the lovely photo of the two of you that you posted.

I appreciate your update about your grandma. I have the picture of the two of you etched in my mind. She's beautiful and the two of you looked so nice together.

I can imagine how difficult it must be, not only for your grandfather, but for all of her loved ones. A good friend of mine's dad suffered from Alzheimer's, so I know about some of the effects.

I'm guessing that she's on medication. I hope it's helping her. It's obvious that she's loved and cherished by many people. I'm hoping she can feel that love for a long time to come. Please keep me posted on how she's doing from time to time. I care.

One of the most important things I missed out on was knowing any of my grandparents. They were all gone by the time I was born. I'm sure I would have been much happier and wiser had I been able to experience them in my life. My grandson was an infant when my wife passed away and my granddaughter was about two and a half. At least they still have me and both of my son-in-law's parents in their lives.

I don't know if I made it clear that just about every word in the story is true. My Goddess and friend is far away now. We kept in touch for a while even after she moved to England until about 6 weeks ago. It looks like she's decided to put her life here completely behind her.

My only wish is that she never regrets making this drastic move, (she fell in love with someone from over there who she met while he was visiting New York). I'll always love her as a friend, BDSM partner and human being. II'm sure we'll never forget each other as we move on with our lives.

Me, on the other hand. I can't imagine ever recapturing what I had with my Goddess at my age. I'm not going to stop participating in BDSM. I'm too passionate about that lifestyle. My Goddess was so perfect for me. I guess I should feel very fortunate though. As far as I'm concerned, I spent almost 32 years with the ferfect woman for me, my wife Annette. Then, I found the perfect Goddess. Not too many people can say that.
