the funniest thing EVER happened today! ok, it's kinda a long story, but it's worth it!
so, it starts out at work. i work in a skateshop for those who dont know. some kid tried to steal some shoes, but we caught him once he walked out hte door and arrested him. which in itself is usually fun. but it gets way way better. the kid's friends didnt realize that he was caught, and were still walking around the store. the lp guy meanwhile had taken position right outside the door where you couldnt see him from inside. one of the kids bought a belt, and the other one was going to steal some shoes, pants, a hoody, and a hat. he tried to rip off the security tag from the hat, but just ripped the hat instead (i didnt find that until later though). i guess he changes his mind right before he left cuz he ditched the stuff and then walked out. the lp guy couldnt see that he didnt actually see anything though, so when he walked past the lp guy grabbed his arm and asked to search him. the kid takes off running. the lp guy chases him. the other lp guy comes out and starts chasing him. some customers from our store start chasing him. some people from taco bell start chasing him. around and around the parking lot they go. at some point he lost his shirt and shoes (not quite sure how that happened), so all of us in the boardshop were just looking on in amazement while 15 or so people chased down some half naked crazy kid running in circles. eventually someone tackled him. and it turned out that he had stolen a lot of other stuff too, so he's in a lot of trouble now. but yeah. seeing that chase was the most entertainment ever. all the other people in the store were speechless about the whole thing. for one thing, all the kid had to do was run off our property down the street and we're legally not allowed to chase him. but no, he just ran in circles on our property. what a fucking moron. thieves are stupid. but damn funny sometimes!
