so i finally gave up and put some rocks in my turtle's tank cuz one of them couldnt get up into the dry part, and of course, turtles do need to be dry once in awhile.

i also gave them some more celery, which they LOVE. and there's only 6 goldfish left from the 15 i bought a few days ago. so all in all, they are doing well. they're not fucking as much anymore either, which i'm taking as a good sign. i made a note on my calender when she'll be ready to lay her eggs.

i'm sooo excited about going to dc in a few weeks!! my friend teresa said she can watch over my animals, so yay! good stuff. it'll be nice to get out of bakersfield.

ummm.. yeah. work sucked last night. stupid servers. and unfortunatly, due to a stupid computer glitch, some very very nice people got totally screwed and had to wait over an hour for their food. poor people!! they were like, the coolest people to come in there for the past few weeks! i felt bad for them.

i work tonight, but not til 5, which is weird cuz usually the dinner shift starts at 4 or 4:30. whatever. i guess this means i'll be home late, but that's ok.

i read hp6 again.

now i'll read some more of the narnia books.

i need to buy another filter for my turtle's. right now i'm just moving the one i have back and forth between the turtles and the newt, but i'd realyl like them both to have one. not to mention that it is totally unsanitary to keep moving it without changing the filter thingie in it, which of course, i dont do. so if one tank is infected with something then soon, they will both be infected.

meh.

my mom finalyl met my kitten yesterday. it was fun. we spent the afternoon at the bridal show listening to bagpipes while drinking margaritas, which of course, was just too perfect, then came back here for a bit to play with the kitties. rachel and leah were with us too. my brother and rachel have been dating for awhile and they are sorta kinda engaged. i mean, we all know they're gonna get married, they talk about it all the time, but he hasnt proposed yet cuz he's too scared to do that. not scared of marriage mind you, scared of us family bugging him all the time about the wedding. so i guess this week he's not supposed to watch any tv (something rachel came up with or something?) so then he told her that he'd make her ring. so sweet!

i love rachel and her kids. it'll be fun having her in the family.

ok, well, i guess that's it. i suppose i should start getting ready for work soon. damn work. hopefulyl alissa and logan aren't working, well, mostly logan, but kinda alissa too. whatever. thank god lindsey is gone. i couldnt stand her. ugh.
