so has anyone here ever been on celexa? any thoughts about it? i met with some guy yesterday and he gave me that. and some sleeping pills. i'm hoping it'll help... he seemed to know what he was talking about. i think he was a nurse practioner (which is practically a doctor) who specializes in psych meds. well, i know that's what he specializes in. actually really he specializes in psych meds for people with eating disorders. he spent about an hour talking to me before he decided what to give me. and he actually read everything in my medical history and all the papers they had on me. right now i'm only taking 10 mg, but i'll go up to 20 in a week (just to make sure i can handle it without throwing up or anything) and i meet back with him again in a month. i've sorta been on meds before, but i never really took them like i was supposed to, so yeah. this time i will though. i'm tired of being crazy. he said that i have ocd. i was like "no i dont!" and then he asked me a bunch of questions that i said yes to and he was like "yeah, that's ocd. there's more to it than compulsive hand washing." so meh. learn something new every day.
so yup. colin is supposed to kidnap me this weekend. i'm excited. he was joking abotu bringing handcuffs and blindfolds and then i told him that i thought that would be grand fun and he was all surprised. that would be so awesome if he actualyl did do all that. he also joked about spanking me and i said that'd be ok too cuz really, i'm a total sub. it kinda threw him off guard. i dont think he's been with anyone who actually likes that kind of thing, or at least, will admit to liking it.
so we'll see. hopefully he doesnt back out or anything like that. i'm starting to withhold more information from him these days too. which drives him crazy, but i see no need to be totally open with someone who i'm just casually dating. last time he bugged me about it i just smiled very sweetly and informed him that i would love to talk to my boyfriend about that kind of thing, but not with him. he rolled his eyes. it was funny.
umm... yeha. i gotta get ready for work now. today we get to try all the mixed drinks! nice.
