Ive commented on a few pic sets via poetry. Ive written things, on and off, all my life. And, as I'm in a sharing mood, you may thank Ms Cabernet Merlot for that, please accept this humble offering.
Youve heard the legends of the fey
Stealing mortals hearts away
Long of limb, with flaxen tresses
Forest folk, leafy dresses
I know a girl whos beauty clear
Could stand among them as a peer
Her eyes change colour with the light
Their inner fire burning bright
The freckles light across her nose
Inspired me to write this prose
Her smile would warm the coldest morning
Like the sun, with its dawning
And when she laughs, my cares all go
My gorgeous girl, i love you so
We fight at times, i know its true
But there is nothing i wouldnt do
For just one smile, filled with love
Would make angels jealous, from above
Ive never touched her, yes its true
And awfully stange this must be to you
And though she lives in a country far
And no matter what height the bar
One day soon, by plane or boat
I'll cross the seas as if a moat
And soon, i swear, oh yes one day
I'll gently woo her heart away
For ******, girl, I want to be
The man thats loves and honors thee.
And from what Ive seen, in my brief time here, any SG, and any hopeful may replace the **** with their name.
Should inspiration strike again, and no one throws tomatoes, I'll post again. There may very well be a group for this. Guess I should look.
