This year is going to be kind of hard for me, so I'm just going to list the one BIG thing I'm thankful for this year. And that's having those additional two years with my dad after nearly losing him three years ago while I was living in Phoenix. Getting to spend that time living by him and Mom, having my Minion see them pretty much daily and getting to spend the quality time with them that I hadn't in over a decade is an immense blessing.
Yes, it fucking sucks that he's gone. Yes, I hate that I won't ever be able to speak to him again. And YES I hate being so far from my mom right now while we're both grieving, but just the simple fact that we did get that extra two years is fucking immense.
So while my @bloghomework may not be entirely up to par this week, I'm hoping that you'll remember and perhaps understand where I'm coming from. @lyxzen @missy @rambo
