So, I've been in Kauai with my folks since Tuesday. They have a four year-old computer with Compuserve and dial-up that doesn't work a lot. So...yeah...not so much with the internet for me this week.

We've been catching up which is nice. The weather has been fairly crap, lots of rain and wind, of course I love this kind of weather and there's no chance of me getting sunburnt, which has happend on my previous trips.

We just put up Christmas lights. My folks have a small potted tree in their garden that they bring in to cover with lights. Of course there was a lime green Gecko sitting on a branch who was none-too-happy about moving for our silly festivities. (And 'no' I didn't ask him about car insurance. )

I won't have an opportunity to respond to any journals while I'm here, but I'm taking pictures and will post them when I get back on Wednesday. I hope everyone is well and having a nice holiday season.
