So, I'm tired and wired. I'm leaving tonight, on a jet plane to see 730A_Trixel_Fem. Having developed a wonderful friendship over these very intraweb waves, I decided I wanted to go meet her in person to see if there might be a stronger connection. Of couse, there's no pressure or stress involved
, but the older I get, the more compelled I am to not let opportunities to travel and connect and possibly even love, go to waste.
We've both talked about it a lot, and even if she just shows me around Winnipeg and we simply hang out, watch movies and eat greasy Chinese food...that will be fantastic. And if there is any kind of frolicing involved...that's just gravy. And if not...well, at least we acted on it instead of letting years pass by always thinking "gosh, I wonder if we might have ever connected at all."
So, I'm leaving on the red-eye tonight and tomorrow at this time I will be at her place, bleary-eyed, no doubt freezing my SoCal giblets off, but very happy I embarked on this journey with a very special woman.

Reading Trixel's journal, it sounds like you two had a blast. I've always thought Trixel was one hell of a woman. She is inspiring and quite an individual, an artist. I'm glad you got to meet her in the flesh. There are a lot of envious guys and gals out there/here.
