So, I finished the second draft of my pilot. I think it's a lot better if I say so myself. It's currently out to a new gaggle of friends to give it the once over.
In other news, in my generally depressive state as of...most of this year, I realize this journal is a cheap form of therapy. There's only so many times you can write about being jobless, approaching 40 and more or less restarting a writing career at square one, being apart from your fiancee for 4 months, continuing to mourn your dad in new and interesting ways...you know, the usual. So, then I try to force myself to go out and do stuff that isn't a lemonsucking suck-fest so I have something here fun to look at. People like to comment on tigers and sunsets. Not so much emo-laden missives about being a depressed cephalopod with black clouds above my squishy blob-shaped head. Go figure.
