So, my mum is on a British Airways jet headed to visit her family in England. My dad made me promise I would make sure she went back home once he passed. She hasn't been back since 1983 and will in fact meet adult nieces and nephews she's never met in person. I spoke to her just before she was getting on the plane and she was clearly very excited. I got a little choked up.
I also found out, Linda-Sue, an extended relative of mine passed away this past week of Hepatitis C. She was only in her 40's and leaves a 15 year-old daughter. Trixel even got to meet her and know her, as I did, as a boisterous and warm person. She'll be missed.

She must be so excited about meeting all the new relatives she's not seen though, thats one thing I hate about being away, I miss my nieces and nephews so much, some of them will be here in 3 weeks..woo hoo!
