So, the last few days have been spent all family and friends and stuff.

My Mum came into town last Wednesday and my lass trixel came into town on Thursday. Lots of time spent eating with many different friends.

Trixel and I went to see an immigration lawyer on Friday and lo and behold our getting hitched in November in Kauai will have to be postponed. The long and short of it is we have a small mountain of paperwork to go through and hurdles to jump before we can just go off anywhere and make ourselves a nifty beach-y union. So, in the interest of practicality we're going to try to take care of this crap first.

However, the good thing is she'll be here full time sooner than we had thought and able to work and stuff. Which is good.

Had to say goodbye today at the airport. Blah.

My Mum is still in town for a few more days to do Mum things like help me continue to clean up my tornado of an apartment.
