So, I'm back from Kauai, after spending 8 days with my mum. We're both doing ok and keeping each other moving forward with lots of travel planned. In addition, I ordered her a new Dell laptop and put in an order for cable internet. (My folks had been using the eMachine my sister and I got them 6 years-ago. With dial-up.) It will be a great asset for her to 'surf' the net as well as for us to keep in touch via IM and such.

I'll write more later...as writing helps.
