So, the last two weeks have had my head spinning for two main reasons I shall divulge here:

1. My father's health has gone from not-so-good, to bad, to worse, to ICU.

2. I got engaged to 730A_trixel_fem at Disneyland.

Yeah, yesterday was quite the emotional rollar-coaster. The morning was spent in tears. My Pop head taken a bad turn and was being moved to the ICU. I thought I might be heading to see them early today. But after talking to my mum, she said they'd both be pissed if I left Trixel and flew to see them now. They said go to Disney and have fun and give them some good news. So we did.

I popped the question at the start of Space Mountain. She said 'yes.' Then we flew down. We were going to buy the picture they take of you at the end as our official engagement picture, but we were both closing our eyes and looking like we ate some bad pork. Maybe next time.

We then called our families. My mom and Dad were obviously happy and excited and he sounded much better than he did in the morning. Trixel leaves tuesday and barring anything too drastic, I'm leaving then to see my folks.

Life is quite the unpredictable mistress sometimes.
