So, currently battling a cold I picked up on the last day in Winnipeg. Blah.
However, the trip was great. Trixel's sister and fiance were a lot of fun to hang out with and her mom and I got along just fine.
I surprised Trixel with a massage and pedicure for her birthday. The spa at the Fort Garry Hotel where we stayed was awesome.
Trixel decked me out in official Canadian Olympic team gear cause it was cool looking, well-made, 20% off and most importantly...WARM. We watched a lot of Olympics cause I like it and she indulges me.
I told her we should plan on going to the Vancouver games cause it would be fun. She pointed out that means I must see us together four years from now.

This is a place called Moxie's. Good food and the men's bathroom has a faux fireplace.
AND...as if that weren't enough, you can watch curling while you pee. God bless Canada.

-M & L had no idea that I used to live in Burbank and was now moving to Hollywood. They thought it was the other way, or didn't think about it or whatever. I found that out last night and it really surprised me, though I'm not sure why it should have. I just thought they knew where I lived...wierd.
