So, arrived safe and sound in Winnipeg. Trixel and I took a bit of a walk in the chill downtown air to get dinner. Now, when I say 'chill' I think what I really mean is 'holy fuck I think my eyeballs are going to shatter in their sockets'. With the wind chill at night, that's about -15 to -20 below zero. And that's not even as cold as it gets.

In better news, the hotel is old and nice and warm and has awesome food. I've already had two different kinds of bacon (which is a staple food here, even for the vegetarians.) In addition, everyone is very nice...it kind of throws you.

OK, we're off to get massages and stuff and then go to buy a scarf that can cover my whole head. Call me Surlycicle-burka boy.
