Hello my rakes and leaves,

Fall is my favorite season at the farmers market





peppers, tomitillos, gold and red onions, and pretty rose gold potatos for curry this week.

I love how the names of apples give them different personalities

pink lady
dapple creek
plump girl
autumn sweet

all sound like nicknames for very different kinds of sweethearts.


Though i love the fall, I admit that i am nostalgic for the summer already

I know this may sound a little psychotic, but, my favorite thing to do in the Fall is...FIRE!! biggrin biggrin
But seriously, now's the time of year when it's finally getting cold enough to really enjoy the warmth of a campfire or fireplace. Sure you could build yourself a nice little fire during warmer months, but there's just something about the warmth of a fire coupled with that crisp chill in the air that is the Autumn. Time to break out the Wieners and Marshmallows! biggrin

My fave thing about autumn is the leaves turning all the pretty colours and hearing them crunch under your feet. I also love the feeling of getting cosy for winter...i'm feeling the cold this year so i've got my big duvet out already. I brought a 'spiced apple' candle yesterday, it's making my house smell all yummy and warm.

I miss the summer though, not having to worry about what coat goes with your outfit lol.
