Hello my waffles and chickens!
I had such an amazing time, Karma thew a killer party. I am getting pictures together as we speak (or, i guess, as you read)
in the mean time (it may be a long mean time)
things i learned that i like this week, while looking for cover songs on the internet
1. Nina Simone, singing Gershwin, as a claymation cat
I've watched it 3 times, and can't put a finger on why it enchants me so. Her voice? yes. The song? always a yes. The wet look of the animation? that too. but i believe it is something else, and i can't figure out what it is.
2. The Raconteurs, singing what Tarintiono made a cliche, in a way that made me remember why i love the song, and why grunge ment so much to so many people.
3. Maxx reminded me of how much i love Josie and the pussycats!! (long tails, ears for hats!!)
It reminds me of how stupid happy a pop song can make me. If you meet me in real life, and buy me a shot, i will sing any of these songs for you. weather you like it or not.
also, Rosario Dawson looking fly, Tara reid at her best, and the fact that this is basically an extra "Letters to Clio" album

My camera died in the middle of trying to take a pretty unflattering portrait of us so something I learned was not to get too drunk and hook up with strange random girls in front of my boyfriend and then try to explain that it didn't mean a thing.
