I had that last year - although in my case, it wasn't a crowd doing it, so much as one person in particular. But to paraphrase a wise old man, if you find your friends beating you down and mocking you, then they aren't friends. Drop the bastards and go find some.

Wilmington Delaware ... actually all of Delaware is small. Blink and you miss it. The beaches can be nice, though.

You aren't far from Balmer or DC, or Philly, or even NYC for that matter, so you could conceivably day trip to any of those cities for some party life. Oh, and I believe there's no sales tax there.
