yarg. lots of shit going down lately. in no particular order:
a) i'm in my new place. this is good. i have no furniture. this is bad. i get to go shopping for new furniture. this is good. it will cost a lot of money. this is bad.
b) my dog had a seizure last night. i woke up and she was jerking around, clamping her jaws open and closed, drooling all over the place, and staring without seeing anything. she wasn't in there. i managed to get a valium down her throat, and she started coming out of it. then it was two hours of wandering around aimlessly, getting stuck in corners, hitting walls, etc. really, really hard to watch. this is bad. she finally settled down to sleep. seeing her back when she woke up was good. i think i'm going to have to give her a valium every night before bed "just in case". it'll zonk her out, but it should also stop the seizures until the goddamn vet gets back to me with the proper medication.
c) two weeks and change until i get to see the girl again. this is very, VERY good.
d) i need a bed. see c.
e) my tattoo is going to be an escher-esque piece, with a big solid bat at the bottom, ascending/breaking into smaller individual bats at the top. i'm thinking it's going to be pretty swell.
f) driving 2 minutes to work is way, WAY fucking better than driving for an hour.
