The packing is going slowly, and the girl is more captivating every day. I've gotten about 9 hours of sleep in the last 36, so I should go to bed soon, but I thought I'd pop in and update my journal.
Currently re-reading Quiet Days in Clichy by Henry Miller in the few spare moments I can snatch. I'd forgotten how totally morally bankrupt he is, and how appalling his views of women were. Still, fucking awesome writer.
I also pulled the trigger and ordered another lens for my camera. It should get here next week. I am practically wetting myself in anticipation.
Finally, I'll be going to New Orleans soon - anyone been there? Care to suggest fun things to do?

8 years is a long time. 6 months is not, you're so lucky...well, better off than me I mean.
