Well just another BEAUTIFUL day at the beach, and we had waves! YES! Little ones, but waves none the less. Got about an hour and a half session in while getting paid! Who's better than me? HA Had a crazy rescue Mon. The ocean was wicked rough, really pulling, and sweeping to the east, and a couple drunk dudes went in the water, and within 1 minute these dudes got sucked out about 75 yards in a real hurry! Man, these dudes were DEAD if we didn't pull 'em out. After 12 years of lifeguarding, and saving well over 250 people, only 3 people have thanked me saving their lives, and I got one of those 3 "thank yous" on Mon. That is what makes lifeguarding so rewarding! Hope everyone else is having a sweet summer!
