have been streaming sigur ros's new album pretty much constantly for the last 3 days. it's SOOOOOO good. i was really disappointed with ( ). there were a few good tracks, but also some pretty lame ones, and it didn't work well as a whole. it really paled in comparison to their first album. this new album (takk) is definitely on par with the first. their sound has evolved beautifully.

i almost (almost being the key word) saw them in a church in reykjavik, but couldn't get in. i stood outside for 40 minutes and then gave up. waaaaah.
