i know this is all totally yesterdays news, and i'm not usually very bothered by these things, but it all just seems very absurd to me right now.
double update: ok, i really wanted to find the picture that was on the menu, but i couldn't (mcdonalds oddly does not seem to have their menu on their site), so i instead photoshopped my own double big mac, which looks identical to the one on the menu anyways. ready...
no kidding.
this also reminds me of a trip i made down to oregon a few years back. on my way home, i stopped at a taco bell in washington, whose slogan was
"it's late - eat more!" it was on posters inside the restaurant, and plastered on all the cups and burger wraps. words to live by. or die by.

there is no way anyone needs to consume that much hamburger in one sitting.
but did you ever see super size me and that one guy in there who ate like 3 big macs a DAY. im sure he is super excited to see a double big mac on the menu.
