Interesting day...
Wooo...today...well yesterday...was quite an interesting day, and I shall tell you why in the following words...
Well the night before, which would be Thursday night, which would be Thanksgiving night...I kinda got in a tussle with Jaimie online, which was to be expected I guess. I don't expect people to forgive and forget that easily. I drank a Mike's Hard Lemonade, and it was good. I'm a light weight drinker so I actually felt a buzz off of one of those. Later after feeling down and then crying some, I finally hit the hay. On Friday, I had to work 11am-8pm. I woke up somewhere around 10:30 and wow did I feel like shit. I was just blah everywhere. I was all throat hurting and light-headedness and just weak and freezing. It probably didn't help that we hadn't turned the heat on yet (don't worry I have it on occassionally now), and was waking up every thirty minutes freezing to death.
So yeah...I went to work and I felt horrible! I told my boss Mike about it and he said if you wanna go home then do it, it's fine with me. I said I'd work and see how I was feeling later. Well it didn't seem to get any better. I had gotten the ice cream truck done right before he left, and I was still icky all over. He gave me this emergen-c stuff that has a shitton of vitamin c in it mixed with oj and then i took another break when he was leaving to get some food into my system. after that i took some drugs and then went on my hour break...and finally started feeling better. I wasn't freezing anymore, but was actually feeling quite warm, which was nice. I didn't have much to do except run some holiday stuff and fill ice and then face the department to make it a little easier for nightstock. Then after all that, work was done, I bought some cheap ice cream nasty shit that Charlie gave me, but haven't tried it yet. It's atkins stuff so it's gotta be pretty crummy he gave me each box for a nickel.
When I got home I checked my mail and stuff on the computer, and texted Sarah to see what she was up to. She was at Joe's cuz he was having a little party thingie after thanksgiving since his gf was gone. he's going to las vegas like tomorrow i think, which would probably be pretty fun. i've been to reno, but not vegas. anyway, he's a shift manager and he's pretty cool. half the time he's at work he's stoned, and people were doin that at the party. i almost did, but it just wouldn't have felt right without jaimie there to protect me. i did drink a nice cournacopia of stuff. i brought over the other 3 mike's lemonades i had. i gave one to each of the bacon sisters and one for myself. they are so beautiful, and they work at hy-vee, but yeah....i would never have any chance with them anyway. it was nice getting to hang out with them and everyone else cuz i'm always working hard and never have time to talk to them. so let's see i hade the lemonade, some kineken (nasty), and some bud light (also nasty but not as bad), some yager (ick i hate black liquorice) which burnt my nose!, then some vodka (which also burnt my nose!), and some egg nog with rum in it. i was feeling quite tipsy. we watched this dennis leary dvd comedy thing which was pretty damn funny. to try and tame ourselves, we got some burger king. after that i had a bud light and then it was time for people to start heading out. good times had by all, and i didn't even get any! isn't that amazing!?
only problem is now i feel like crap again. the sore throat is back and my chest hurts. i guess it's going around everywhere, so i'm not alone. i just need some good rest since i have saturday and sunday off, so hopefully i'll feel better tomorrow er later today.
