It's over-rated
And this phone tag game is endless
The novelty is wearing
I'm hoping time will pass without any assistance or convincing

Another night in jail.... Way to go... blackeyed

PRAY, v.
To ask that the laws of the universe be annulled in behalf of a single petitioner confessedly unworthy.

I can't decide if I just had a horrible night by mortal standards or by the usual guidelines - but it sucked.

what was horrible about your night?

Patience: a minor form of despair disguised as a virtue.

I hate waiting and I hate surprises. Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile.

p.s.
saw something interesting written on a bathroom wall of my favorite bar, and it goes a little something like this - hit it:

"I Fucked your mother"
(then, written beneath it in another guys shitty handwriting)
" Go home...

that is pretty funny...and the fact that i find that funny makes me wonder about myself confused

anyway...I'm bored, the weather is shitty, I have to get up early and drive, do I go out tonight? or do I stay home? hmmm..think I will flip a coin.

The garbage truck woke me up this morning, made me think about the maids, which made me laugh again...
My goal this weekend is to call one of those "how is my driving" #s, (that was pretty amusing also) I am sure I will get the chance in NY, hoping for a cab..

ugh, me and my typos..

So sneakers or flipflops?
I'm starting to panic.
Remember she asked you...
Remember to breathe
And everything will be ok...

Having a blast in Charlotte isn't hard to do when you're visiting. Fun is limited. No one really wants to go to the same three bars every night.
krista:
Sneakers.

And while everything I do seems extreme, no way was it motorcross.

And its way too easy to fake this smile and lead you on
Maybe I'm wrong; but everyone gets bored once in awhile

it didn't take you long to come back

both of us leaving most of it on

Romeo is NOT a sex toy. I cannot stress this enough. And he's neutered.

Sorry, the game continues through the week.

However, instead, you could play "how the hell did Krista get that bruise." If you can't see any in that pic, just wait...there are always bruises.

it's chilly
and i have just returned from
the company of a girlfriend i
won't be seeing again any time soon
(a fate you know all too well)
who awkwardly educated me
over dusty, guilt-ridden cigarettes
on the truths i cannot ask of my mother
(who is not ready to bear another of my burdens
yet.)

But I've hidden a note
It's pressed between pages that
you've marked to find your way back.
It says......
"Does he ever get the girl? "
But what if the pages stay pressed
The chapters unfinished
The stories too dull to unfold?
Does he ever get the girl?

And the plaster dented from your fist
in the hall where you had your first kiss
reminds you that the memories will fade.

That reminds me of one of my favorite poems by Jim Morrison...

A man rakes leaves into
a heap in his yard, a pile,
& leans on his rake &
burns them utterly.
The fragrance fills the forest
children pause & heed the
smell, which will become
nostalgia in several years
