I popped my Social D cherry after 14 years!!!! finally went to see them after all this time. and in 14 years of seeing punk shows, that was seriously the biggest pit i have EVER fucking seen in the rave. or any venue of similar size. the crowd went absolutely NUTS. hope my pics turned out. used a disposable camera. i was seriously getting knocked around. best part was, the pit actually THREW me about 15 feet from Mike Ness. My friend was back there getting beaten, and I am spittin distance from Mike Ness. seriously.

seriously. oh lord. it was very exciting. the damn disposable camera has that fisheye effect so i hope they turn out ok. plus i didnt use flash, it seemed impolite to be flashing right in Mike Ness' face while he is trying to perform.

oh my god. i am a sweaty, crazy disheveled mess.

then he asked who the youngest people there were. he brought a 14 year old kid with a mohawk and a 16 year old girl onstage and talked about the new school and the old school. I can tell ya, the old school was in front of me, and he was drunk, and he wanted to sing ALL the songs to me. I was not having it though. that dude was probably considerably older than the band. and extremely drunk.


sigh. one more check off the things to do or see before I die.



at least i am living a full and happy life.
