Whitby Report
Got back from Whitby yesterday very tired , spent the rest of the day unpacking and was back in the workshop today as I've got a few orders to send out.
Set off on thursday lunchtime for the three hour drive to Whitby , weather was alright until we got there and a fog started to come in!
Bumped into akatheesia dj_false gadge_europa and manniqueen at the motorway services and then didnt see them again for the rest of the weekend!
Our B&B was nice they even put ickle teddy bears in the room aww! we were on the top floor tho and the ceilings were to low for me to stand up .
Met people at the buck Inn Thursday night for beer and a bit of a disco which was a nice start to the weekend.
Had to get up at half seven on friday moring to set up the Stall , it was so foggy that I couldn't see the metropole from our B&B which might be why the market was so quiet! . There was a lot less people at the festival this time and a few less market stalls as she's pissed people off with her over charging and over booking of stalls and the getting shit headline bands . But anyway I sold a fair bit over the weekend it wa sjust very slow and very boring being sat one the stall allday . Didnt do much shoppnig aprt from a couple of C.D.s and another stripy top!
We went to Laughtons on the friday night which was fun danced to a lot of EBM and then made the mistake of dancing to a Sisters song and lost the will to live half way through but you cant leave the dance floor in case you look silly! Also spoke to stompyboots who I hadn't met in person before!
Think we left at about to in the morinig hardcore! but then I did have to get up at eight saturday moring and even manged breakfast this time!
Saturday was upstairs in the Resolution in a function room that looked a bit like a wedding reception! urbancannibal did a good set but the cds kept skipping from to much bouncy dancing! sara_pebbles tried to get us to dance more but we were to tired and left early sorry!
Sunday we had a quick wander round whitby nad then had to drive back home .
