Okay, so the old diet didn't do shit for me, so I did some research and put together a whole new plan. I've decided to use my blog here to catalog my progress since nobody really reads this. I'm on day four, but I'm a little skeptical as to how this is going to go since it specifically forbids working out for the first 26 days. It called for me to begin taking a homeopathic supplement along with a B vitamin. The idea is to reset my metabolism to start burning stored fat rather than storing more. The first two days I had to load up on fatty foods, "eat all day" it said. So I did. Days 3 through 26 my portions are drastically reduced and only certain foods are allowed. I've got a recipe book that I'm using and I've learned that quality food is expensive. No wonder I got fat since I'm a cheap ass.

Anyway, on to the results so far. I started on December 1st as the first "loading day." I weigh myself every morning using a digital scale, after doing my business, before I've had anything to eat or drink, just before I get in the shower.

Day 1 - 307.5 lbs (Loading phase, eating fatty foods)
Day 2 - 307.5 lbs (Loading phase, eating fatty foods)
Day 3 - 308.9 lbs (This is the morning after eating garbage for two days)
Day 4 - 302.9 lbs (This is the morning after a single day on portioned, healthy food! I hope this keeps up.)

So there we have it. I'll post results every Saturday and we'll see how this goes. Maybe I should take before and after shots....
