I'm such a dork. I'm looking through 2005's movie release schedule and figuring out what I'm gonna see. I didn't see much this year (Shuan of the Dead, Hero, Eternal Sunshine, Sky Captain, a few others). But it looks like the first half of next year is gonna keep me in film:
January - Elektra. Jennifer Garner doing kung fu in leather is pretty awesome. But I'm really going for the trailer that's supposed to run in front of it. Although, Garner is quite teh hottie (I don't like what they're doing with her hair, though. Too Sarah Connor.)
February - Constantine. Keanu Reeves, I think, is underrated as an actor (go watch Devil's Advocate!), and the trailer for this looks pretty damn cool. Plus, Rachel Wiecz is a hottie. But maybe I'm just saying that because she played a librarian in the Mummy...
March - A Sound of Thunder. It's Bradbury. Do I need to say more?
April - Sin City I've never read the original comics, and I was pretty ambivalent about the movie. Then I watched the trailer (go! Click on the link now!) and I'm now dying to see it. It's got quite the cast, and the cinematography is GORGEOUS.
May - A double feature of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith: Lucas Needs Your Money. H2G2, I'll go see on general principal. It's finally being made! That's one of my all-time favorite books. And Star Wars, I'm going to see more for the inevitable overzealous fanboys. They're fun to watch in action. Last time, for Ep. 2, a couple of guys did a choerographed lightsabre fight in the front of the theatre. That was awesome.
June - Batman Begins. We're getting a good Batman movie! Christian "No. Not without incident." Bale (Equilibrium) is going to be Bruce Wayne, and the rest of the cast is amazing (Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Ken Watenabe, etc.) Plus, it's being directed by Chris Nolan (Memento).
July - Fantastic Four. Watch as supergp becomes Marvel's bitch, once again. May also see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
After that, it's a slight drought until the greatest movie ever made comes out. At least, I'm hoping it's that.

Any suggestions for additions to the list? Anything you think I should remove?
