Eponine asks, and Eponine recieves....
So I get into ART 100 the first day of class. Since I'm a geek, I'm there like a half hour early. No one else is in the room.
Two minutes later, someone walks in and sits down right next to me. I look over, and then I look up and down. Subject is blonde, hot, wearing glasses (I think glasses are HOT), and reading.
*double take* She's reading Neil Gaiman. And she's REAL hot. She's not as skinny as seems to be the vogue (thank Eris!), she's got these big silvery eyes, and she look like quite the bookworm.
One of the things we did the first day of class is make little origami boats. I couldn't get the back end right, so she helped me through it. So I gave her one with my e-mail address written on it. She writes her e-mail address in the back of my sketchbook and says "would you like my phone number too?" I sort of stammer out something and she writes it down anyway.
So now it's a week and a half later. The more we talk, the cooler I think she is. She's a pretty serious geek. She's quite possibly smarter than I am (no mean feat that!). She's compassionate, and witty, and really hot, and I think (but I'm not sure) that she may kinda like me.
So I dropped her an e-mail on Wednesday, Just to establish "communication outside of class" really, with the goal of eventually working up the stones to ask her out. No response yet, but I'm all schoolgirl giggly again.
