There's so much I want to tell you.
Really.
Nothing is new, but in the time since I've been regularly updating here, so much has happened, and I've never really talked about it. Don't get me wrong - I don't undulge in the conceit that you're hanging on my every word, and oh so eager to learn of my personal trials and tribulations. But I want to get some stuff out and off my chest. Perhaps dealing with it in words will be another step towards making sense of this rollercoaster year.
And most importantly, it's because I really do consider you guys to be among my friends. If your name is up there in my list, then it's probably because you're one of the people who I really have come to enjoy chatting with in all my time being a dude with a pr0n site membership.
You were the ones I found interesting and entertaining, witty, funny, and kind. I did even harbor the occasional massive crush.
It started innocently enough - I just wanted to see more of Alice's saucy bits. In and out. Nine bucks. Guerilla porn tactics. But ah, then I fell for Echo and Claudia. (And of course, who could resist our fearless leader?) By the time Quinne came along, surrender was the only option. I figured I'd be here for a while, and that I'd check out what the rest of the site had to offer.
It turned out to offer absolutely wonderful people like Dogslife and Gigi, who were probably the first two people with whom (an English degree and I still never know when to use who or whom) I started regularly chatting. And the cast of fantastic people (and if I'm not running through the list of you, it's only because I started to try it and I realized I'd be here for the rest of the night) continued to grow.
So thank you for being one of the people that I'm happy is reading this page. Thank you for being one of the people from whom (see?) I look forward to hearing. (Reading. Whatever.) I do want to let you guys know what's going on with me. I want to seek your advice, your comforts, your reassurances, and share a few stories with you to let you know that it hasn't all been one big drop kick of the Flea for the past few months. (The new Grand Theft Auto, for instance, is fucking fantastic. I also now know where to get the best hospital food in Hamilton, and where you can get decent sushi at 2am on the Niagara peninsula.)
But now's not the time to say that. I have to pack up and get ready to go and spend the weekend with my family in the frozen north. (They get to meet the girl.)
