I gotta say, I'm pretty happy about the outcome of the election, all things considered.
I've a stern look for any of you Canadian types who didn't vote.
Now, to get rid of Dubya.
I spent my lunch hour today looking for a backup guitar. I keep one at the office, and the much-storied Parker is in the shop, and so I want a third-tier backup. Something I can have around the apartment now, but also drag around for jamming and stuff (and dare I dream getting back into shows again?) without absolutely freaking about something happening to it. I came across this bad boy today. A bit more than I wanted to spend on a backup backup... but it shore is pretty. I may have to go back tomorrow and gaze longingly at it a bit more.
And I think that Diesel Sweeties is the best thing ever.
And with every song I listen to, it becomes harder and harder to believe that I somehow live in a world in which Catherine Wheel isn't bigger than God.

Where have I been? Oh, you know, outside.
I have been having people stay with me for weeks at a time. I have been to weddings. I have been house hunting. I have been on the phone arguing with insurance companies over the state of my car. I have not been gaming (GM has had to babysit his father as of late). I have been dye-ing my hair.
