I gotta be honest with you. I'm starting to think about wrapping up my time here. No, don't look at me that way. You know it breaks me apart when you look at me like that.

No, there's not another site. Don't be silly. What? Of course it didn't have anything to do with that time you were all out of hot naked girls and had to run to the store to get more. We're both adults here. These things happen and you deal with them.

It's not you, okay? It's me.

Well, more directly, it's my car payments. I got it today and I love it, even though the weather outside is the worst its been all winter and I can't even imagine taking the thing out of the garage for the next couple of days.

But there's no political agenda. I'm not unhappy with some direction the site has taken. I didn't get in a fight with somebody on the boards. And the girls are still as lovely as ever.

Also, this isn't a "please everybody tell me you want me to stay" post. I haven't even decided for sure that I'm going to call it off. And besides, I think I'd probably just wind up swapping emails with anybody who'd be likely to miss me anyways. We'll see what happens, okay?

But communication is so important, and I had to let you know how I was feeling, and I wanted you to hear it from me, first.

Now let's get some barbecue and get busy.

UPDATE:

Now that I've figured out what that unexplained charge on my Visa was, and that I did in fact make it, my sense of financial security is restored once more. This makes me less panicky about ongoing site memberships and the like.
