Holy hell - this vacation is not off to the best start. Yesterday, I had those painful muscle cramps and couldn't walk, and today when I woke up, my computer crashed and wouldn't reboot because the hard drive failed.
Fucking YAY.
So five hundred dollars later, I've got a new 120GB hard drive installed (and I treated myself to a sexy new Plextor DVD burner), but I had some photos (nothing fun - just of my family and my dogs) that I'd offloaded from my camera but not backed up anywhere, and a few other small things that I've lost, and that's depressing.
I'm really disappointed, because the drive was only 3-4 years old. But it's a doorstop now.
Anyways - now I have to reinstall all my software, update drivers, yadayadayada.
At least tomorrow I have a fucking dentist appointment in the morning to look forward to.
Grr.
