An uneventful Sunday. There are worse things. I slept a lot, which, all things considered, I probably needed.

I listened through to my prized Roxy Music anthology, only to find that nothing on the set particularly stood up (on first listen, to be fair) to "More Than This", but that's a pretty tough number to beat anyways.

I watched a few more episodes of The Critic, and have to confess that so far, it hasn't been quite as delightful as I remember. I do know that most of the gags that stuck with me came from later in the series, so maybe they just hit their stride a little later on. One of the things that I'm struck by is that the art and animation in many ways (particularly the backgrounds) remind me of the old Heavy Metal movie. Not the parallels I expected to draw smile

All in all, I'm feeling a much-needed sense of rested-and-relaxed setting in, and that's really important. Lots of pressure at work lately, so it's good to decompress and be ready to face the week.

I really have to make a point to tell you all about my daring escapades and "sexy parties" so these entries are a little less "here's what I did today" and have a little more sizzle!!!

I promise I'll get off on a good rant soon. But not right now, because some friends are stopping off to go and bring us out to see Ginger Snaps 2 shortly.

You crazy kids look out for werewolves, mmkay?

And there is nothing wrong with being a geek. I am very proud of my geekiness. Star Trek ahoy! Go AD&D! biggrin
